According to Article 41 of the "Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China," foreigners working within China must obtain a work permit and a work-type residence permit as required.

Any company or individual is not allowed to employ foreigners who have not obtained these permits.

Required Documents for Foreigners Applying for a Work Permit are as follows:

1.Complete the "Application Form for Foreigner's Work Permit in China"

2.Proof of qualifications: documentation verifying the applicant's qualifications for the job

3.Certified Degree Certificate: provide the highest degree (educational qualification) certificate notarized by the corresponding country's embassy or consulate, or the relevant approval documents and professional qualification certificates.

4.Certificate of No Criminal Record

5.Medical Check Report

6.Employment Contract or Proof of Employment (including a letter of dispatch for employees of multinational companies)

7.Applicant's Passport or International Travel Document

8.A recent, front-facing, bareheaded photo of the applicant taken within the last six months

9.Relevant proof & documentation of accompanying family members

10.Other required relevant documents
