Upon arrival in Wuhu, foreigners must complete accommodation registration within 24 hours.

For foreigners staying in hotels: register at the hotel front desk on the day of check-in with valid documents.

For foreigners staying outside of hotels: bring valid exit-entry documents, the host's valid ID, and relevant proof of residence (such as a rental agreement, property ownership certificate, etc.) to the local police station in the residential area for accommodation registration.

When leaving to temporarily reside elsewhere, the above same accommodation registration requirements must be followed.

If there are changes to the basic information on the entry and exit documents (such as a new passport, changes in name or date of birth, etc.), the accommodation registration information must be updated within 10 working days.

Those entering with a visa who plan to work and live in China must apply for a residence permit within 30 days from the date of entry. If an extension of the visa stay period is needed, an application must be submitted to the Department of Immigration Administration of Public Security Bureau at or above the county level at least 7 days before the visa expires, along with relevant materials explaining the reason for the application.

To continue staying after the residence permit expires, an extension must be applied for 30 days before the expiration.

In case of passport loss, report it immediately to the local police station where the loss occurs.
