The TCM Department at Yijishan Hospital carries forward the heritage of Xin'an Medicine, a prominent regional school of Chinese medicine with deep roots in southern Anhui.

Academic lineage – the Zhang Yitie School

The rheumatology program preserves the academic lineage of the Zhang Yitie School, founded by Professor Li Jiren, a National Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine. "Zhang Yitie" means "One prescription cures all." Professor Li Jiren was awarded the title "National Master of TCM" in 2009 and named one of the "Top Ten Centenary Masters" in 2013.

National Key Discipline: Bi Syndrome (Rheumatology)
