Wuhu hosted an investment matchmaking conference for Greater Bay Area enterprises on July 15. Ning Bo, Party secretary of the CPC Wuhu municipal committee, attended the event along with municipal leaders Cao Xiaoming, Hou Mingwen and Pan Feng.

Ning welcomed the entrepreneurs from the Greater Bay Area and gave a brief overview of the city's economic and social development. He said Wuhu is a central city in the Yangtze River Delta and a sub-center of Anhui province, with a solid industrial base, strong innovation capacity, a strategic location and a livable, business-friendly environment. The city's development quality and efficiency continue to improve, he said.

He noted that the participating enterprises have expertise in intelligent connected new energy vehicles, robotics, the low-altitude economy and next-generation information technology — fields that are highly compatible with Wuhu's industries and offer broad prospects for cooperation.

Ning said Wuhu will continue to foster a market-oriented, law-based and internationalized business environment, provide quality services for entrepreneurs investing and starting businesses in the city, and support enterprises to grow and thrive. He expressed hope that the entrepreneurs would strengthen exchanges with Wuhu, deepen practical cooperation across multiple fields, and achieve mutual success.

Representatives of several enterprises also spoke at the conference, describing Wuhu as fertile ground for innovation and entrepreneurship with enormous development potential. They said they would continue to engage with the city and push for more concrete cooperation outcomes.
