Zhang Dong, chairman of the Wuhu Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and municipal leaders Cao Xiaoming and Pan Feng attended.
Entrepreneurs including Liu Changwen, general manager of Shanghai STEP Electric; Yang Fengyu, chairman of UniX AI; Zhang Yuanda, vice-president of Ningbo Huaxiang Electronic and chairman of Ningbo Huaxiang Qiyuan Technology; Qiu Wei, vice-president of AI² Robotics; Yue Yifeng, general manager of Galaxy Qichen (Chengdu) Health and Medical Robot; Chai Xiaojie, co-founder of Proto-Sentient Intelligence; and Liu Senlin, managing director of CICC Capital, spoke at the meeting. They offered suggestions on core technology research and development, industry chain localization, and multi-scenario demonstration applications. Ning and other municipal leaders took notes and thanked the guests for their support of Wuhu.
Ning said that since the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Wuhu has developed new quality productive forces based on local conditions, promoted the integration of technological and industrial innovation, and steadily improved development quality and efficiency. The city is now accelerating its expansion into emerging industries such as robotics and embodied intelligence. Wuhu will focus on high-potential, versatile market segments, accelerate the development of models, expand application scenarios and build commercial closed loops. Leveraging its manufacturing strengths, the city will enhance full-chain capabilities covering robot body, core components and complete machine assembly. Wuhu will also scale up the supply of intelligent computing power to provide low-latency, cost-effective computing support for the robotics and embodied intelligence industry. By fostering a market-oriented, law-based and internationalized business environment, Wuhu will work with enterprises to seize opportunities and build itself into a hub for robotics and embodied intelligence, Ning said.
